The holidays can get overwhelming with the amount of gifts you’re expected to exchange and, if you have a large family, it can be exhausting choosing items for every cousin and in-law on your list. That’s why we’ve put together a gift guide for couples and families! Want to get everyone an individual gift? Go matchy matchy to take the guesswork out of gifting. You can only give them one gift? How about something they can do together as a family? I don’t know any parents who don’t want an excuse to bond with their kiddos.

Matching Pajamas / $12+
Kathryn and I have these matching pajamas and we love them. As much as we love matching, you know we had to get sets for our boys, too. They have these flannel ones that match us but if green and blue plaid isn’t your thing, they come in a bunch of other colors. They also have pajamas for kids, maternity, babies, the only family member who will be left out is your pet!

What I Love About Our Family / $8
I got all the bridesmaids to fill out a similar book to this (Letters to the Bride) for Kathryn and I thought it was such a sweet idea I went hunting for a family one. It’s made up of short fill-in-the-blank style statements so everyone in your family can contribute to the book. At 112 pages it’ll give you plenty of opportunities to reflect on your love for family all year long.
Family Portrait Cross Stitch / $15+
How stinkin’ adorable is this little cross stitch? You can grab one for a newly married couple in their wedding attire, add pets, the world is your oyster! If you’re super crafty you might even be able to knock out this gift yourself. I feel like cross stitch is really making a comeback, so this would be perfect for everyone from your great-grandma to your trendy cousin.
Finders Seekers / $30 or subscription
I really want a “Hunt a Killer” subscription box this Christmas, but that’s not super family friendly if you have younger kids (or if you prefer something a little more PG yourself). This Finders Seekers box is a great alternative that brings an escape room experience to your home. It has clues and puzzles to help you solve a mystery and you can enter to win prizes. The subscription options range from just one month to a full year.
MeUndies / $18+
Maybe you like your matching attire to be a little under the radar, MeUndies has got you covered. I have been wanting some matching undies forever, and the longer I wait, the more cool stuff this company comes out with. You can get matching undies, bralettes, onesies, baby bodysuits, even dog scarves. I love the Santa Slayin’ print, but you can’t go wrong with the classically Christmas fair isle.
Wall Scrabble / $110
We pretty much never sit down and knock out a game of Scrabble even though I love it, so we bought ourselves this wall Scrabble for Christmas. Your letters stick magnetically to your name plate and you leisurely play your turn when you have a spare moment. No more staring that indecisive member of your family down as you wait for them to play their turn. (Oh come on, we all do it.) I like this blue toned version but there is also a “vintage” one that looks more like a traditional Scrabble board.
Personalized Calendar / $15+
If you’ve read my MOH Pro post, you know that Kathryn asked me to be her maid of honor with a customized calendar. It had a picture of us that corresponded with each month, all of our birthdays, trips we had planned, and, of course, the wedding page! It is such a sweet way to display family photos while making sure no one forgets any dates you need them to remember. Plus, Shutterfly always has great deals going on, so you can order a lot of calendars for a pretty good price.
Slippers / $15+
You’ll need some slippers to go with those pajamas! We grabbed a pair of the “Mama Bear” style for our expecting friend, and of course added a “Baby Bear” pair to the order. How cute would it be to make a baby announcement Christmas morning by having everyone unwrap a pair?! With pairs for Aunt, Grand, Big Brother, and more, everyone can get in on the family slipper action.
